Hey AI, Let's Talk!
Foundations of Prompt Engineering for Teenagers
Hey AI Foundation
Students need more than access to AI; they need the judgment and experience to use it well.
Hey AI Foundation supports student-led work that makes AI something to investigate, not simply a tool to use. Through AIYA, students test model behaviour, build and evaluate projects, and present their work in their school communities.

The AI Youth Alliance is a student-led network operating under the Hey AI Foundation. It gives school chapters a shared structure for practical learning: test a model, make a decision, build something useful, and explain the reasoning behind it.
Visit AIYAStudents learn how generative AI produces answers, where its limits appear, and why a confident response still needs to be tested. The work builds habits of verification, independent judgment, and clear standards for using AI.
Teams work within a structured framework to make and test predictions. AI can support research, context, and scenario analysis, while students remain responsible for their assumptions, decisions, and explanations.
Students turn sustained learning into work they can present, explain, and improve in public. The symposium gives chapters a venue to share projects, discuss their methods, and learn across schools.
Practical writing for students, families, educators, and anyone working out how to use AI with judgment and purpose.
